Using the Family Portal

Everything in one place: completed skills, every video, current progress, and what's next.

This article is written for families. Studio staff: the portal shows a family only their own student's Quest. For the studio-wide view of the same information, use the Student Quests tab.

The progress emails come to you - the family portal is where you go when you want the whole picture, anytime.

What you'll find

Log in with the account from your welcome email, and you'll see your musician's Quest laid out:

  • Completed skills - everything they've accomplished, from the very first skill onward.

  • Videos - every performance video, all in one place. This is your musician's growing portfolio, and it only gets better.

  • Current progress - the Level they're on and the skills in motion right now.

  • What's next - the upcoming skills and Levels on the path ahead.

Your musician can look too

Students can view their own Quest - what they've accomplished, what they're working on, and what lies ahead. For many kids, seeing the path is half the motivation: the next skill, the next Level, the next reward stop visible in the distance. If your musician hasn't explored their Quest yet, look at it together - "which one of these are you most excited to get to?" is a great conversation.

When the portal shines

  • Before recitals or family gatherings - pull up a few videos to share.

  • When motivation dips - scroll back to the earliest videos together. Nothing answers "I'm not getting better" like watching exactly how far they've come.

  • At re-enrollment time - the portal is the clearest possible answer to "is this working?"

Questions about what you see

Your musician's teacher is the expert on the skills themselves, and your school's front desk can help with anything account-related. And if a Level just completed - ask your musician about the reward. They'll want to tell you.
