The Ready-Made Quests

The five Quests that ship with every account — and how to make them yours.

Every Musician Quest account comes with five ready-made Quests, built and refined in a working music school:

  • Piano Quest

  • Guitar Quest

  • Drum Quest

  • Violin Quest

  • Performance Quest

How they're structured

Each instrument Quest contains 11 Levels, and each Level contains 5–10 Skills. Levels are named milestones - students progress from Musician at Level 1 up through Superstar - so every stage of the journey has an identity worth earning, not just a number.

The Performance Quest is different by design: a short, focused Quest (6 skills, 1 Level) built around preparing for and delivering a performance. It runs alongside a student's main instrument Quest and is a great way to build recital readiness into your curriculum.

Three ways to use them

  1. As-is. Assign them to teachers today. They're complete, classroom-tested curricula.

  2. Customized. Open any ready-made Quest in the Quest Editor and rename Levels, add or remove Skills, adjust descriptions, or change video requirements to match your school's approach. Most studios customize over their first month, guided by teacher feedback.

  3. As a reference. Even if you import your own curriculum, the ready-made Quests are a useful model for skill granularity, description writing, and how video requirements are distributed.

A tip before you customize heavily

Consider duplicating the ready-made Quest and editing the copy. That preserves the original as a clean reference, and lets you experiment freely in the duplicate.
