The Owner Dashboard
The Owner Dashboard is your studio-wide view - every user, every Quest, and every student's progress in one place. Here's what lives where.
The dashboard home
When you log in, the dashboard home greets you with your studio's vital signs:
Stat cards for Student Quests, Active Students, and Active Families - each with a View all link to the full list.
A Getting Started checklist tracking your setup through the three core steps: Import Users, Import or Create Quests, and Assign Quests to Teachers. Once all three are complete, your studio is fully launched.
The sidebar tabs
Everyone - a single list of every user in your studio, of every type, with links to each.
Admins - your Admin (Manager) accounts. (See: Adding and Managing Admin Accounts.)
Teachers - every teacher, with links to each teacher's account.
Families - every family account.
Students - every student.
Student Quests - every student and their progress on their Quests, with links to each student's Quest page. This is your studio-wide progress view. (See: Tracking Student Progress with the Student Quests Tab.)
Quests - the heart of the Owner account: create, edit, duplicate, export, upload, and delete Quests, and assign Quests to teachers. This tab has its own full collection of articles. (See the Quests & Curriculum collection.)
Staff Onboarding - onboarding Quests your teachers and staff work through to onboard themselves, with progress emailed to your nominated onboarding recipient. This tab appears only when the feature is enabled for your school. (See: Staff Onboarding: Quests for Your Team.)
Videos - the studio-wide library of every performance video, filterable and downloadable. (See: The Videos Tab: Your Studio's Performance Library.)
Events - a running log of all student Quest activity: every skill started and completed. (See: The Events Tab: Your Studio's Activity Log.)
Emails - a log of every email the system has sent, with the ability to view content and resend. (See: The Emails Tab: Seeing What Families Receive.)
Imports - where user imports happen: bring teachers, admins, students, and families in from your studio management system's CSV exports. (See: The Imports Tab: Bringing In Your People from CSV.)
Settings - your studio's account settings.
How the pieces relate
Think of the dashboard in four layers:
People (Everyone, Admins, Teachers, Families, Students) - who's in your studio.
Curriculum (Quests, Staff Onboarding) - what students and staff are working through.
Progress (Student Quests, Videos, Events) - how it's going.
Plumbing (Emails, Imports, Settings) - the machinery that keeps information flowing.
Day to day, most owners live in Student Quests - it's the retention radar. The people tabs matter most during setup and enrollment changes, and the Quest tab matters most when building or refining curriculum.
A habit worth building
A weekly five-minute scan of the Student Quests tab tells you more about your studio's health than any report: which students are moving, which have stalled, and which teachers might need a check-in. Progress that's visible to you is progress you can act on before a family decides to leave.
Draft note: add the main Owner Dashboard screenshot.
