Adding and Managing Admin Accounts

Admin (Manager) accounts give staff studio-wide visibility without full Owner permissions.

Admin (Manager) accounts

Admin (Manager) accounts exist for staff who need to see across the studio without full Owner control - most often your office manager or front desk lead.

What an Admin can do

Admins get cross-studio visibility: the people in your studio and the progress happening across it. What they don't get is the full Owner permission set - the studio's structure stays in your hands.

Who should be an Admin

The clearest candidate is whoever runs your front desk. Consider what that person handles in a Musician Quest studio:

  • The reward moment. When a teacher walks a student up after a Level completion, the front desk presents the reward. An Admin can see the student's progress and make the moment feel personal - "Level 4! That's the one with the big performance video, right?"
  • Family questions. "What's my kid working on?" gets answered on the spot instead of "I'll ask the teacher."
  • Rollout support. During setup, an Admin can help import people and keep the rollout moving.

Adding an Admin

Admin accounts are managed from the Admin tab on your Owner Dashboard, which lists and links to every Admin account in your studio.

Draft note: document the exact add-Admin flow with screenshots, and specify the precise permission differences between Owner and Admin.

One good habit

Make your Admin part of the progress rhythm, not just the account list. An office manager who checks the Student Quests tab before each shift walks into every family interaction already knowing the story - and that's the kind of front desk that keeps families enrolled.
